The Year of The Horse

Welcome to 2026, friends. How are you? We hope you had a restful holiday and are excited for the new season ahead.

As we look forward and start thinking about intentions, goals, or whatever version of “what’s next” you’re into, we read that it’s the Year of the Horse. Well, technically it begins in February with the Lunar New Year, but still.

Horse energy is movement, momentum, and creativity. Big vision, forward motion. The horse doesn’t overthink the leap. It moves and lets the rest catch up.

So with that in mind, let’s enter this year in that spirit. Less hesitation. More purpose.
Moving together, dancing, breathing, and taking big jumps.

Giddy up! Lol.

ICYMI — In case you missed it

Last year marked the launch of our dance program and the ON OFF Masterclass Series inviting friends and international guest artists to Paris.

Dance has always been at the heart of this project, founded by a dancer and supported by a community of dancers and wholehearted movers. Bringing dance into our programming was a long time in the making and has welcomed a whole new community to ON OFF. We are having a ball!

Looking back on our masterclasses and guests of 2025:

  • West Side Story
Led by Lori Ann Ferreri, with special permission from the Jerome Robbins Foundation.

  • Joanna Goodwin
West End artist and choreographer of Les Demoiselles de Rochefort at the Lido.

  • Carly Hughes
Broadway and television performer sharing what it means to be a true triple threat.

  • Mattie Love
Current Wicked Broadway cast member, Mattie shared original choreography from the show and her career experience from Broadway to dancing for Madonna.

The intention of this program is to offer access to international artists and educators, primarily in the style of theater dance, a form that has not been widely represented in France. And as with everything we do at ON OFF, always presented within a context of mindfulness and community.

Thank you for dancing with us. More to come!

Join us Sunday, January 11th at 11am for a 60-minute all-levels yoga practice followed by a post-practice hang at Artverse Gallery. All levels welcome.
